Xbox 360 Data On Dvd
« on: September 01, 2006, 11:13:00 AM »

Is it possible to see the data on the xbox 360 dvds. Like the xex (executable) and structure of the directories and the files contained in them?

Thanks

From the 360 itself? No. I know that you can connect the dvd drive (depending on which drive you have) in your 360 to a PC and, using a special firmware, read the files from it. This does void your 360 warranty and unless you know what your doing, I wouldn't advise it.

If you do know what your doing, read the section where you are backing up games:-

Alternativley maybe you can read the 360 games through a standard DVD rom drive with modified firmware? I have never tried  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) .

Yes, with a certain drive flashed with special firmware this is possible.

What would you like to see the disc in your PC for?
