Streaming M4a/aac Files With Windows Media Connect

Wonder if anyone could give me some advice.

I have most of my music stored on my PC HD in AAC 192 format.

I know I cant stream AAC (just the mp3's I have) through Windows Media Connect, but I was wondering if its possible to load a codec into Windows Media Player that will allow that to play AAC, and that will in turn allow me to stream my files to my 360.

The piece of software Ive seen mentioned is 3ivx.

Does anyone know if this is a solution to the AAC streaming problem ?

Any help would be most appreciated
