um  yes, in a sense.  u can always buy one and they will all suport it (even tho the core dosn't come with it)

The Core system does not include a hard drive, and will retail for $299.99. The Premium includes a 20GB hard drive, HD cables, wireless controller instead of wired, a remote (limited time only), and probably some other stuff I'm forgetting to mention. It will retail for $399.99.

You can buy the hard drive separately for the Core system for $99.99.

All 360s will support the hard drive; only the Premium comes out of the box with it.
