But they DID say their online service was free... also I read several E3 commentaries where the editor walked away with the distinct impression that BC N64 and previous games (as GC will probably be done from disc) would be completely free through the online service

i hate to admit it but i see BluRay as the new media
as for the rise of price for games will bring even MORE piracy.
as for inflation why dont they just raise the price for games just once a year for games instead of a next-gen system. if they do that people would bitch about it as much and not even barely notic

but what would i know ?

They should raise the price only for the popular games that have proved themselves. Like Halo, Madden and etc..
