I wouldn't be surprised to see europeans pay 1 1/2 times more than USA, say £300 but only $400 in USA.

£400 will not be the price I can tell you that now.

People will not pay for a games console that is that much. People didn't buy and xbox for £300 (well, I did.) so they had to reduce the price just to get sales up. That price drop was £100 which happened in two weeks.

I think the price will be £250 - £300 but not £400. It just wouldn't sell enough.

the release price in the netherlands (next to the uk) was around 430 euro ...
In an interview with someone from MS they promised the launch price not being that high....

300 pounds is 520 euro .... so that is much higher than promised.

It cant be that high, at least i hope not ...

I'm expecting £200. Seriusly anymore and people won't buy it. Micro$oft has learnt from their mistakes hopefully and if they want a headstart, that's the way to do it. It's the only way they can get a real foot up from $ony apart from the early release date.

EDIT: Juast as a sidenote, aren't all US prices without tax, so the US are paying more than you expect.
