Are there any programs for the xbox that run .rmvb files? I have a month or so old version of xbmc and it doesnt play it. Is there a new version of xbmc that plays the type of file, or an I going to have to convert the file to avi or mpg? Or is there a different media player that will play a .rmvb file? If anyone knows, please tell me!

rmvb is a "real-one" or "realplayer" video file.

realmedia variable bitrate files are recent and are not supported as yet by mplayer and therefore are not as yet supported by xbmc either

just add .rmvb to the video extentions line if it isnt already there. then download these codecs HERE that support .rmvb. (it works, i play these files on xbmc)
