Do I Need To Toss My Backups From 2 Years Ago?
« on: April 10, 2013, 09:15:00 PM »

XGD2 games might be OK and work just fine still.

The XGD3 ones might have to be redone  .... maybe

Sort of guessing.  Maybe others will chime in.

What model is your console?  And what dvd drive brand ?

my old system was a benq from 2 years ago my current drive is a lite on. All the backups I have currently are XGD3 (I believe) They are all pre- AP25 except for maybe call of duty because it looks like if i'm reading the web correctly some of those and other games were changed to AP25. Would it be safe to say if it's AP25 to chuck those but the others should be safe?

EDIT: forgot to add what kind of console. The old console was an elite. The one I'm using now is a Family or w/e they were called. The first ones I believe w/ on board memory white.

EDIT 2: I'm sorry scratch all of that. The current console I am using the core w/ the on board memory and the Liteon drive was modded in the past. It was when MS did the update that flashed the firmwares back to stock that I stopped using it. So the games I have backed up were used on this console pre that update. It's been a while so I was getting mixed up w/ an old banned console and I got rid of all those backups a while ago .
