put them in dvdinfopro or imgburn
and check the media code
ritek...D01, ricohJPN..., CMCMAG...

nexxtech make some of the cheapest and worst cdr and dvd+r media ive ever seen i expect the same from their DL

Yeah, the general reports that I have seen on their media haven't been that great.  I'll see if I can't track down some scans on them though at CD Freaks.
