100lb, is that around $130 USD. If so don't waste your money. The lowest I would go would be $300 and that is pushing it, there is alot of crap systems to sift through at that price IMO.

Ideally look for something with several digital inputs, especially OPTICAL inputs, since most sound seems to be delivered through fiber optic cable now.

Personally, you probably shouldn't settle for anything less than the logitech z-5500 surround sound package.
It's a tad more expensive than what you've specified, but save up.
It's the smallest amount you'll be able to spend for crisp sound that surrounds you and gives off pounding bass.
From experience, on the z-5500s movies and games sound as good as you can get on a budget.
(Without spending enough to buy a used car.)

Hehe...100lb tongue.gif Sorry, it is pretty weird that while we use pounds as a currency, you use it as unit of weight...and they are not interchangable at all. Oh well, odd countries...

Anyway, £100 is around $185, i don't know if this changes anything though...Things are generaly cheaper in the US anyway...

Lol I had no clue how to make the correct symbol. man $185 now. The dollar is just diving bad. As far as measurement I wish would drop our idiotic units and pick up the metric system.

I agree with you in most cases...except certain things...i find it hard to judge height and weight of a person in anything but feet/inches and stone...

But anyway, sorry to threadjack, back on topic!
