Xbox Live Headset Question

I want to know if it is possible to use my head set and mod it for use with xbox live. It has 2 earcups, instead of one and a mic. It also has 2 plugs, one for the mic and one for the headphones. Also, how do I get audio for both game play as while as chat? Any links would be awesome.

I have never heard of anything like that. As far as i am concerned in order to chat on xbox live using a headset you have to use a headset that will plug into the headset jack on the controller or use the wireless one. Dont know if this helps or not but good luck with your issue.
