towel trick is a useless waste of time any1 that does this is destroying their xbox more!!
if the xclamp fix doesnt work first time then adjust the screws as they all have match the "warp" of the motherboard to work!! it can take hours!! but worth it!! oh towel trick burns ur ram chips therefore xbox is no more!!

Well there's your problem!

In all seriousness though, don't use the towel trick. The heat damage you can cause to your unit isn't worth the short-term availability of your functional Xbox.

I suggest trying one of the methods with a higher success rate. Give Lawdawg's tut a shot, and report back here with results.
