Audio, But No Video
« on: February 02, 2020, 05:49:00 PM »

Hello, about a week ago my Xbox 360 which was purchased not even a year ago has recently "Crapped Out" on me, right before this happened we were playing Halo 3 and the screen started to tint red, then green, and a little of both, then I turned off the system and turned it back on only to find out that there was no video but faint lines of static on the screen, but no video of the 360 can even be seen in them there just "static" as it seems.  I can navigate the menu and hear the sounds of me signing into live, loading a game, etc... by blindly navigating the menus.  If anyone knows a fix, perferably something permanent, or anything at all even it would be appreciated, if possible a link with a guide or video if its something tricky.  Thank you for your time (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Honestly dude, there's 4 topics of the exact same problem on the first page of this forum, not including this one. Normally I'm not the type to jump on the "do a search" bandwagon, but this particular problem is addressed all over this forum, and tthe general hardware forum.

Thanks for the help, could of just said the heat gun fix though, and the first link you posted was just you telling some dude you think an x-clamp fix "might" work.

Yes, because sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't.
