i was wondering if its remotely possible to have a single xbox and while say playing halo split screen have the signal or something so that one person is on one tv and the other person is on the other tv, just been wondering if its possible, thanks

well really this was meant for first gen xbox but i dont think that changes anything

Yes, you could split the video. But, you would still be playing split screen, but on two different TV's.

what you need is a video demultiplexer (demuxer for short)

though they can cost anywhere from $500-$1000 because they're really only ever used for TV studios where they need to do all kinds of video processing, it's only made on a professional (read: not consumer) level.

not to mention the video quality will be crap because it's a really really really low resolution image stretched out.

I assume you were looking for a CHEAPER solution to buying a 2nd console... buying a 2nd console IS the cheaper solution  wink.gif
