What Settings To Use With My 32 Lcd Hdtv?
« on: June 24, 2006, 09:40:00 PM »

Hey guys I just bought a 32 Westinghouse LTV-32w6 tv. I am using the cables that came with the premium 360 to hook it up to the tv. Does anyone know what settings I should set the 360 too? Let me know asap thanks.

On best buy, it says the maximum resolution is 1366 x 768, so it wolud probably be best to set it to 720p.

16:9 720p.............

I just bought the same TV.  My son finished up playing on the 360 and when he switched back to the TV, we had sound but no picture, just a blue screen.  I reset the TV to factory default and re-did the cable scan, but it didn't help.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

make sure all the connectors are in place( pull them out and put them back in) make sure the switch on the xbox360 component cable is firmly set to HDTV

For the Westing House guy

LTV-27w HD 2006 here. I left my 360 on but turned the monitor off. When I came back to the room and powered on my hdtv the 360 was in screensaver mode. I pressed the guide button on my 360 controller and when it woke up the display was vertically scrambled lines.

After sweating bullets and powering off disconnecting and reconnecting testing, accessing the website at WestingHouse, I was dreading returning to bestbuy 60 miles away.

With my manual in hand I retried every menu option through, counting the the places as the Text was all but unreadable due to the vertical lines. Factory reset etc. all no good.

Then I turned off power on plug memory powered off unplugged everything and reconnected once more.

This resolved the issue, though I have been afraid to turn on the memory / power on plug feature or leave the 360 running, and turning off the hdtv again.

Not sure what exactly happened but glad I didn't have to return to best buy.
