720p Or 1080i?

I have a 30" widescreen crt HDTV   Samsung TXP3076W if it matters. I'm still trying to figure out which is better 720p 1280x720p (every scan line) or 1080i 1920x1080i (every other scan line) cause my tv supports both.  unsure.gif

Anyone have any suggestions.  I been running 1080 cause it is higher then 720 but really isnt or is it? uhh.gif

The best resolution is AWALYS ALWAYS ALWAYS the one  your display supports nativly.
