Is My Lcd's Output True High Def Resolution?
« on: February 20, 2006, 08:42:00 PM »

first off READ THE STICKY  dry.gif

High Definition is just a fancy term for particular resolutions

That and you could argue for days over wheither 1080i is better or worse then 720p

720p is 1280x720

1080i/p is 1920x1080

if it's not one of the above it's not "True HD" but that doesn't necessarily mean it's bad it just means you're using a resolution not defined in the spec... If I were running 1600000000x900000000 in progressive scan it wouldn't be HD but it would be a heck of a lot better then it

you're running 1280x1024

it's not HD but you tell me, is that better or worse then HD?
