Is 1080i 50 Hz Compatible ?

not sure about 1080i running at 50hz, but i have a PAL Xbox360 and a PAL HDTV. soon as i turn on the X360 i get TV displaying "1080i/60hz"  unsure.gif


on a side note:

1080i (NTSC) = 1125i(PAL)

Nope, 1125i is 1080i. 1125 represents all of the raster and 1080 is the visible raster.

The 360 is 60Hz only at 1080i, so you are out of luck. It would not be ideal anyway if the 360 did support 50Hz at that resolution, because the games are optimised for 60Hz and it would result in all sorts of undesirable motion issues.
