using the vga cable.....except for the fact that you can't run some games like NBA2K6 and NHL2K6 in normal (not widescreen) mode without huge bars on the top and bottom. Very frustrating. You can run everything in widescreen mode, and resize the picture with your monitor, but then the players looked squished and ugly. You can stretch the normal mode somewhat up and down but it still leaves large bars and when you run other games that fill the screen in normal mode the image goes off the screen. If every game was the same at 1280 x 1024 things would be ok. Oh well.
Maybe Ill just accept the fact that I have to run games at a lower resolution because I am tired of constantly adjusting the picture or changing the resolution in the menus. I don't suppose there is some utility that will change monitor settings using hotkeys without having anything to do with a graphics card.
