i know a guy who has this TV and loves it with his xbox 360.  HDMI input=great  i went to best buy and looked at it and the picture on it was really good, for some reaosn i really like the look of LCD's but most people dont...but its a good TV IMO

probably the best for your money lcd wise


im not a fan of lcds myself....but if i was going in that direction this is the one id buy

ok after considering buying this and wondering why it was so cheap, i realised its a samsung slimfit CRT, STAY AWAY this tvs have horrible problems with geometry and your lucky if you get a good set

All I want to know is if can display 720p.  I have a big screen and it's a crt tv.  I like it, but it can only display 480p and 1080i.  This one says it can "process" 720p.  Does that mean that it can display it?

every signal sent to it will be upconverted to 1080i.....higher resolution then 720p and you can take advantage of it when lcds cant in games like madden, 720p just gets rid of interlace artifiacts and has the "capability" of 60fps......if 480i is smooth to you (regular cable broadcasts) then no worry there

1080i= 1920x(540x2)
720p 1280x720

OK.  I've found a better tv (I think).  Me and my mom were looking at this today.  I know that the contrast ratio is a little low, but the picture still looks good.  I just want to know what you guys think of it.  Link
