I-pod Support Question?
« on: December 18, 2005, 11:20:00 PM »

Does the movie I-POD work on the 360? I have an I-POD shuffle and it works fine but the entire pod fits in the 360 usb port so i was wondering if the movie version also works. Thanks in advance.

one more thing the main reason for this question .. is if you can you see these videos and stored pics from the pod thru the 360 this would be great because i just found out that i am getting one for christmas i need to know because i can always just get the nano its cheaper and i really dont see myself looking at movies in a 2inch screen.

Comes with one plugs into dock connector , you also use this to charge it

Sucks it doesnt come with firewire , or even a wall charger like teh Gen4 and earlier ipods

I bought an Ipod video not more than a month ago , black version

This comes with them , plugs into dock connection

Any USB storage device will work on the 360, meaning any USB based Ipod will work.

The Xbox cannot read videos from USB devices though, only music and pictures.

And for all you 3rd gen Ipod users the usb hookup will work but WILL NOT charge your battery. No charging support for usb on 3rd gen, only Firewire.

This is not true.  I just got a usb enclosure for a hard drive and I formatted it in fat32.  The 360 wont recognise it.
