I am wonering if the Component AV cables that come with the premiun Xbox 360 Pakage will work on a normal TV (red, yellow, white)  ????

Yes, there are two sets of plugs on the cable. What I want to know is if the cable has digital optical sound plug on it and if it can be used with both kinds of video outputs

the premium pack cable has component video, standart composite (yellow) and an optical out put, sorry no digital coaxial this time

yeah, the optical is a plug that is on the back of teh a/v plug, where it goes into the xbox. everything else is all just scattered leads.

You can't. There is a switch on the plug(the part that goes into the 360), that you select either HDTV, or composit.
