well since the 360 comes with a component cable in the box, it would just be cheaper and easier to do that.

IMO the VGA should give better quality.

i'm thinking the X360 VGA cable won't have a bypass so every time you wanna switch you'll have to unplug the cable. Unless you get a bypass box. smile.gif

I really think that ms should integrate the HDMI or DVI output on the back panel.
All new HDTVs have those and they have better quality than VGA and component put together.  MS should think about before claiming to be "true" HD.

If the 360 offers VGA quality equal or better to the Dreamcast (which IMHO still has the best video output of any current console) then I will be a happy camper.

For quality, VGA is better than Component, especially in colour richness.

My tv has dvi also.  Hey, will the ps3 have dvi.  We need to make a petition to MS.  Especially if the sony whores are gonna have dvi.  Bill Gates can you hear us?
And as far as xbox games looking better in hd.  I have played alot of games in hd for xbox.  Halo 2 for example, the difference is in sharpness and you can see extra shit, excuse my french, but I sure can on my tv when playing the game.  Then new maps look killer in hd.  But by far, and I mean by far, Halo 1 looks like a whole new game in hd.  I'm playing through campaign right now again for the 50th time just to see the visuals.  Does anyone play halo one on xbconnect or gamespy or my fave xlink anymore?

petetions are retarded and never work. Only thing MS listens to is $$$ if they claim to be a HD Era console they better support the HD connections HDMI, DVI, Component, VGA. If not people will go for PS3 who are looking for the true HD expierence.
