judging by the video at gametrailers.com, the game seems like a mix between monster rancher/pokemon/animal crossing.  with the right marketing, i think the game could really pick up and sell good, the previous mentioned games.

Anyone remember Mario 64?  Kinda looks like those kind of graphics but on a 360  smile.gif I will give it a try.

I ldon't think that every game needs to look photorealistc. Could be a fun and less stressful game. I'll give it a try.

I just finished watching the clip here. If I rented this game, I don't think I'd get very far because I'd be beating the crap out of all the piñatas. They seem like they'd warrant a good beating because all of them annoy me. However, it'd be cool if MS has some sort of promo where they include a free piñata (full of candy, of course) for the first 1,000 VP games sold.

A lot of parents are going to go through the 360-craze this fall when the show airs. This game, as ridiculous as it seems, will be another system seller for MS.

Very nice visuals.  Not sure if I'm going to throw down $60 for this...but maybe as a relaxed title that I can pick up for $40 or so (Top Spin 2 esque) it might be worth it.

viva pinata should retail for $49.99 just like pgr3, kameo, pdz (not including the LE)

I gotta say, I think I'll at least rent this if it isn't a download.  It just LOOKS so good!  I mean, the water reflections?  The trees?  Even the grass looks cool.  I like the graphical style a lot.
