the auto update only took me like a half a minute- but i did it early. and the downloading was moving along fine for me- trucking along as fast as anyother dl. then at 30% it just crapped out- like i said soooo many people just kept dling it. i mean why odnt they cut the people off from it- or increase the bandwidth so that people who are already succesfully dling dont have to deal w/ this.

i have never bought anything off the marketplace yet, and i dont think i will be doing it again, at least not for a long long long time. the low bandwidth has ruined it for me. if they are not going to have enough bandwidth then whynot develop a system that places people in line to download it- like a file sharing program does with music ... poor planning MS

Wow, i cant belive that. They actually have like a game to download. but 1,200ms points for it? thats like $15 thats kinda crazy. I still kinda wanna get it though.

its not a game its just dowbloadable content for the game. do not download it if you dont have GRAW.

I dont know about everyone else, but I think 1200 points for this download is insane thats like $22 canadian, it should be 500-800 points tops.

similar packages were released on the xbox for around $20 on a disk at retail, so i think its a good deal with all things considered. i havent purchased it yet but im sure i will when i get some extra $$.

that sucks about the slow DL, everything for me lately has been damn fast though. how big is the package? i cant see anything taking 4 hours to download.

I tried to download it last night. The DL got as far as 38% when I went to bed.

Woke up this morning and the DL failed.

I started it back up and it began from 1%.

five minutes later it was done.

well I'm at 11% in 3 mins.. not bad!
I can't wait to see what the maps are like. I had my little sister start the download for me whilw I'm at work.
hope its done by the time I'm home in 2 hours.

the maps are huge and densely populated.

to me it feels like the AI is even "smarter". they tend to seem like they try to flank you more often and there are also more trucks with mounted guns around - 1 shot kills from them suck.

im loving them so far
