i was thinking 400 or 800 ms points total..

what is it like 20 bucks for 1200 points? i am a huge GR fan but this is ridiculous!

EDIT: ok so i guess you get 1600 MS points for 20 bucks, so your only paying $15 for the maps- not bad.  plus now ill have 400 points

Ya i was gonna post about the same thing 1200 pts? that seems like a little much just for a few new maps and guns. guess i'll know if its worth it in a bit but damn this dl is taking forever I guess everyones trying to get it at the same time

I woke up and it saw it failed.


Started it back up at 1% and the DL was done in 5 minutes.

i got to 30+% last night too- but everytime i started to dl it after failing it would go to 1% and just sit there- so i deleted the whole file and startred over thinking that would hlep- anyway so i didnt make any progress.

woke up this morning and it failed at 10%

in 20 minutes it was at 62%

so it would have been done prolly had i not deleted it

but anyway im at work now and my GF said it wasnt on the active dl list- and didnt give an error, and that it looked complete in the system/memory/games/graw folder

(not a yellow triangle with a !)

so im assuming its done.

it appears that MS added some badwidth to the download-  bc last night i tried for 5hours and got less then 30 %-

then today i finished it in less then 1 hr from start to finish.

anyone know what the update is for when you put graw in the drive and boot up?.. just downloaded it and am not sure what it does.

my guess is that it has something to do with making the game compatible with the map pack.

it would bw nice if they fixed the voice and connectivity problems in the online paly, but i dont think so.

I would be interested to know if this download was like the other downloads on marketplace.

What I mean is, are the downloaded map packs available to everyone on the same xbox?  If I get another xbox, would the map packs only be available to the gamertag that originally downloaded the map packs?

I haven't got the dlc yet.  Waiting on my points from outpost deal I guess.

esc1 I posted right behind you I'm a chump and bought the update, but it has left a sick taste in my mouth, one that will just not come out. I can't believe that they are charging 1/6th the price of the game for 4 new maps essentially (relighting doesn't count) Ubi is going to screw itself with shit like this.

the problem with this is that GRAW is one of the defining games for the 360 so far.  so many many people purchased the map pack at its price (even while they complained about it).  this only encourages repeats of the situation (they'll release further map packs at similar prices)

personally i purchased the maps / etc and am happy with it (and the cost isn't horrid), on the other hand i haven't purchased any of the oblivion additions.
