Im on the 4th or 5th mission were you have to destroy the two bunkers with c4. When I reach the bunker its says place c4 I press every button and none places c4am I doing somthing wrong.

Try pressing and holding "B" to bring up the weapon select and selecting the C4 as your active weapon.

Place and run!

what i did was place myself infront of the c4 location and press Y when place c4 icon come active in the left below screen.

I had this same problem...took me about 30 minutes to figure out what the problem was, and when you are pressed up against the wall, it doesnt let you plant.  You have to get close to the wall, but not press up against it.
