Tiger Woods 08 Live Question...

Simple enough question I think...is it possible to play against someone on LIVE but also have 2 local players? In other words, my brother and I are on the same console, and we'd like to play another brother on LIVE...3 total players? I don't think this was possible in earlier versions of the game. Or I may be wrong.
