The beta is closed at this point.  As for info on patches, doubtful the servers were clogged, but the answers and reasons you are looking for are on the shadowrun forums

Got an email from MGS that states the NDA is lifted, so now we can all feel free to discuss every aspect of the game as we see fit biggrin.gif  Kudos!

been playing alot of shadowrun, for everyone getting to play it, definately got hrough all the training tutorials, you will enjoy it 10x more.

this game is really sweet ass
