i say wait for the update. if the update doesnt fix the online lag dont buy it

I'm eating my words from a past response, but I ended up buying it. There's more right than wrong with this game. I'm having fun. Over 20 hours invested in single player, thus far. More than that in multiplayer.

Once the patch comes out, same fun, less annoyances.

single player is awsome multiplayer sucks. i dont see the multiplayer being good even with the patch

i agree...i love this frigign game, great time...i have like 30 hours on single player, and about 47 minutes on live...the live suuuuucks

I say a definate buy. It's better than than the GTA Series so far. Hopefully GTA IV changes that. The demo is nothing compared to the game. I played the demo and thought it was pretty fun, but didn't care for buying it. Then some people I know got it and bragged about it and most people gave it good reviews so I bought it, and I'm loving it. The player customization, car customization, physics, GTA Style gameplay - but better, great story/SP gameplay. MP is Great, but Online Multiplayer is a bit laggy and should be much better once the patch is released. (Coming This Month Sometime)
