Ill have you know that alot of girls like games that let them play as girls even if the game is a bit sexist! I know alot of girls that love to play doa just cause theyre are so many women to choose from. In fact, my gf originally got drawn to the game because those girls were kicking some serious ass. When she saw me play the game she took serious offense to me kicking tina to the ground flawlessly. So she learned to play and now she beats my ass flawlessly!! and by the way, she only picks females!

yea.....so i refuse to buy doa 4!

me and my wife love playing doa4 hence the interrest in this game, we also play oblivion burnout fightnight. trying to teach her how to play GRAW. but she has issues with FPS. She could care less about the sexist shit in it. maybe cause i am.

Very true... My GF was all excited when I got THAW but then refused to play it because she couldn't play as a female...

She pre-ordered Fable when that came out and almost returned it when she found she couldn't make a female character in that either, with that one she decided to at least try it.

What women look for in games is pretty basic stuff, it's amazing how many game studios just miss the boat completely when it comes to that stuff though.

I agree with those above me, some of my ex girlfriends loved all the games that allowed them 2 be females, tomb raiders, doa 3, yada yada. I was worried about doa 3 at xbox launch but my gf at the time got into hardcore, infact she was the one who beat story mode(I got irritated with the boss) so I could see all the characters movies, and she'd only use female characters after that when we played.

Those of you who think females hate playing as females in games need to leave the cave you live in smile.gif This is a new century, open thine eyes!

not all girls like this kinda stuff...if i rent or buy this game or DOA ill get an ear full about how the girls are dressed so trashy and its pornography.
so yeah you can play as a female...but your playing as a female slut with her goods haning out...i dont know too many girls who dig that...and if they do, their also playing for the other team...

Having spent about an hour or so playing Rumble Roses XX, I can say that if you like wrestling games and well-endowed women, then this definitely your kind of game.  As for the reviews giving such low scores, I have two issues with things they keep harping on:

1. Comparisons.  They need to quit comparing it to the original Rumble Roses.  They assume that everyone has a PS2 and must have played it.  The closest I ever had to owning a PS2 was when I bought two of them at launch to resell.  I never wanted one and never plan on buying one for myself.

2.  Sexuality.  According to the reviewers it's mainly marketed at 14 year-old boys with raging hormones and gets kind of embarassing after a while.  They probably just got embarrased cause they started sporting wood when playing in front of their co-workers.

I actually find myself laughing at times because it's can seem a little cheesy.  But that's alright because the game doesn't take itself seriously and that is what I think Konami was shooting for: a game that's easily accessible, has hot, big-breasted women and is just fun and funny at the same time.  As for other girls playing it, my wife doesn't care one way or another how the character is dressed (or barely dressed).  She just hates playing with me because she doesn't like to lose

It's a cool game. I give it 8.5. Soon as I can beat my friend I'll rate it higher smile.gif Its not a button smasher fighting/wrestling game. the game requires timing and timed counter attacks. That's what helps you win.
