Rpg - Good Fun Or Overpowered Helper?
« on: June 09, 2009, 02:48:00 PM »

The name says it all to be honest. Upon completing the campaign for the first time [On normal difficulty] I invested in a rocket launcher with infinite ammunition. I found that this is incredibly overpowered and the game was rendered too easy. It is enjoyable to use for a temporary amount of time but It makes it too easy.

Of course one can just not equip it but does anyone else agree with me that this stops the challenge of the game and one's own desire to win makes you use the weapon to complete it in record time.

Thanks for any feedback.

Regards

Super overdue reply but~ I think it's helpful in it's own little way.

Say, trying to get bosses done quick and moving onto the next level.

But it does remove the suspense and all.

It's been that way since the first time around.

The reason why I believe the RPG has never gone away is how it's become part of RE tradition and that desire for people 'to find the most powerful firearm ever and use it indiscriminately'.

I'm pretty sure a lot of people have equipped the RPG and then aimed at a boss/sub boss they hated so much and said 'EAT THIS. HAHAHAHA THIS IS REVENGE' and felt good about it. XD
