They said the cars are comprised of 80,000 polys..

in reality they are around 96,000 with some being over 100,000  tongue.gif

it's too early and still in developement, the final version should have less polys  biggrin.gif

wow technology has got a crap lot better

the sega dreamcast would only animate one car at 30 frames per second!!!

100,000 ploygons X 30 frame per second =3,000,000 polygons per second
which is the dreamcast's top rendering power

I half-assed thought it was something bad like there was really no PGR3 and Bizarre just played a cruel joke  biggrin.gif

SOFTIMAGE.... interesting that they use that, I would have figured Alias Wavefront or 3DS MAX.
