What Type Of Combat?

I'm very interested in this game, but I've yet to hear how the combat takes place in Mass Effect.  

I've played a lot of Kotor and some Jade Empire, so I know how those combat systems work.  Is it going to be similar to either of those?

I read a developer interview where the combat was described as "very tactical."  Any Idea what that means?

 Also, I thought I heard about a shaky cam game play video.  Anybody have a link?
