Which Release Of Xbmc Is The Most Stable

been using the 08-09-03 cvs release of xbmp for a while now and feel like trying xbmc. i tried it when it first came out and it was way to unstable - what is the best release for stability and compatibility? i use xbmp mainly for relax streaming of divx/xvid and mp3s.  <

I'm using the 2004-01-04 release to good success.  It's the first time I could really replace XBMP with it because of the new Samba code - which works much much faster, there's no point in using relax anymore.  Aside from a few quirks and not liking any of the skins it's worth giving a shot.  See my other post about the keymap to fix the remote control if you use that.  And you must make your Samba entries with IP address instead of windows/dns hostnames.  I also had to change my mp3 playlists to reflect the new samba xml entry format.  <
