Dvd Drive Not Reading In Xbmc

I burned a DVD full of MP3s...  It reads fine in XBMP, but when I stick it in in XBMC it seems to get stuck.  I can hear the drive working... but it just sits there for eternity (if I was to let it!)

Any suggestions?  Is this a known bug... or is my dang Thompson drive somehow the culprit?
