exactly what i said in the last thread about it just being the lawyers and not the creative aspects of epic behind this threat.

funny how many people talked about "boycotts" and "packaging their game to return it" after the initial post - talk about lack of patience...

Epic just wen't from a company I would think (2) about purchasing from, to a company I want to go find something of theirs to buy. It's amazing what a little humility and positivity brings to the table!

Amazing. I have gotten so used to "deny deny deny" that i almost forgot that honest dicent people accualy can appology and admit that they made a misstake (there lawyers in this case but anyway, they are hired from Epic). Have to give HUGE respect to Epic for this! I know that this is some great free PR for them but hey it is on the house and i hope that other companies follow there lead. Maybe someday m$ will appology for not paying the shippment for poeples broken xboxes or that some people had to repair them 3-5 times

but thats maybe to ask to much

Well, it is a nice move, BUT we have to see wether they actually stand up to their promises of changing the system.

Not only did Epic save face but earned a little respect out of all this. I don't think you'd see something like this coming from EA or M$ ever.

They actually could hire this guy to do these little models for them, they would sell really well with how good they look and how good the game is. Actually they should just give him a couple hundred thousand dollars to buy the rights for that model, then mass produce them and package it with the game.
