I used to think that it was the most horrible thing when Squaresoft sent a cease & desist letter to some fans of Chrono Trigger who were re-making the game in 3d solely as a fan project. This definately takes the cake. Good job, Epic/Epic's lawyers. I guess there's no such thing as bad advertising was the thought in your minds?

These guys should be showing up at his house with a camera crew and congratulating him on his work, giving him some freebies, etc. I never understand why companies always choose going negative first, especially when it always costs more!

Secondly, Epic HAVE to send this letter to protect their copyright. If they do not "actively protect" the brand and trademarks / characters etc they risk losing it. he made it for privet use only. so copyright law does not apply fair use laws fall into play. hes not selling it or giving them away or anything else he broke no laws. he only has 1 for himself and no others where made. but relly i guess the only thing that will happon is he will stop posting pics of it. if he wanted to fight it thow he would win but relly it would be a wast of time being thers only 1. "actively protect" falls under someone ripping them off by selling there content logos etc witch did not happon in this case he used the content they provided on there fan site packs. so he didnt even steal any logos. in short im happy i did not buy there game and i shure as hell whont now there just being asshats.
