.ac3 Files And .dts Files..
« on: December 20, 2003, 07:14:00 PM »

Any chance of being able to play these file types???
You can easily rip .ac3 and .dts files from dvd-audio, enabling 5.1 music, etc....
I'd LOVE to be able to play these through media center!!!
I know that it can be done through some linux media players.. I believe Mplayer is one of them, if you install ALSA... and seeing how you have ac3 passthrough enabled already, enabling .ac3 file playback should be easy??
If any developers need them, I have TONS of .ac3 songs...
(pink floyd, metallica, savage garden, etc, etc..)

I'm talking about actual sound tracks ;-)
for example, a file named:
sandman.ac3
or trulymadlydeeply.ac3
