back to the topic, i believe that FEAR would greatly benefit (performance wise) being ported to the 360 as its a very shader heavy game and judging by the review of the X1900, the 48 shader pipelines greatly increase performance for shader heavy games.....

does anyone have any idea to how well (or bad) condemned sold on the 360?  im sure that plays a part in their desicion to port FEAR

Condemned was one of the 4.3 games that people were coming home with, I dont remember where I read that, but it was announced back when the Attach rate made news on all the websites. It was in a related article a few days after the news hit websites.

If thats true, it sold very very well.

The only others I know of that sold extremely well, and might fit into that attach rate were COD 2(obviously), Madden, PGR 3, PD Zero.

Not trying to spark anything here, but when both are in 512MB configs, the x1900 isnt faster than the 7800 in FEAR.

Now what it would really benefit from if ported to the x360, woluld be a closed system. The code could be much more efficient. Of course this is not always true ala Quake 4 on the 360.
