Cannot Stand On Horse!?

Ok so im in High profile,i TAP A and Ezio just goes into a funny crouched stance as if about to stand but NEVER does!?
Ive tried different horses etc,etc but nothing.Im not the type of person to post about this kind of thing,its hardly important lol but having Googled expecting to find others with the same problem theres nobody (afaik???). So ive kind of become obsessed by it now!
Could anyone help out or experienced this? Is it an issue with my "version" of the game,Is there an update to patch such an issue.
Im liking the game just this that drives me nuts...oh and finding Subject 16s!

If I remember correctly- you get into that stance when you hold RB and press A, if you press A again you jump, right?
