modern warfare 2 is on ign's 2009 list of upcoming releases. also, i think they are trying to get away from call of duty X. i wouldn't be surprised to see them doing cod:modern warfare 2, 3 etc, and cod:waw 2, 3 ,etc.

notice the omission of the number 5 in world at war. you may remember many people calling gta:vice city grand theft auto 4 when it came out. obviously that wasn't what it was (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
