Starbreeze Interview On 360 And Ps3.

QUOTE
GI: What do you like about working on the PS3? How about the Xbox 360? Will there be any major differences between the two versions?

Högdahl: So far the two versions look pretty much the same – quite unsurprisingly, since we use the same shader source code and content for both platforms. They will be identical gameplay-wise. There will only be very minor cosmetic differences, such as the PS3 will have better quality video for the in-game TVs and on the Xbox 360 we have a bit more room for textures in memory.

i take it  the better quality for ingame tvs  would be because of storage space

i assumed it was because the Cell was primarily built for streaming video and sound, so it is able to render the little TV a bit smoother then the 360 which has a CPU more accustomed for gaming.

I dont get it...why would it be that important to render an in game tv better.  How good does the quality of an in game tv need to be?  Maybe im missing something...

well remember in older games...like older than last year...tv screens always seemed to have 2-3 second animated gif running in them...

when i firs saw somthing like that i siad..."oh neat"

then when i got phyconauts (spelling) i saw they did alitlle better than that and siad "thats cool"

then in the opening scene of prey i sawy they had low quality video on mute playing in the bar and siad "cool wish i could hear it too"

when i see this im sure it  will be the feature that makes me not only buy the game but also a ps3 to play it on lol...and then ill say "this is neat too!"

I was under the impression that The Darkness was only coming out for the Xbox 360....

Oh well, more fun for everyone.
