Unique Ip / Macs For Xbox And Bridge?

I'm trying to get online with a Belkin wireless bridge.

Do both xbox and bridge need to have indepdent IPs (set manually as DHCP is a pain) - OR, do I have to do some magic and give them both the same IP and MAC via cloning or some other thing.. ?
