I received a modded xbox last week in which I have everything working fine except I cannot get it to connect to my network.  I am using a wired network with a D-Link 604 router which I have used for my old xbox and it worked fine.  When I connect a cat5 cable to the xbox and into the router, I cannot get a light on either the xbox or the router showing there is a connection between the two.  I have used 3 different cables, all of which work when I tested them on other things.  I think the port could be dead but the person I bought it off of told me to ask on here to make sure there isn't anything else I could try to get it working.  Is it possible there is a cord inside that got loose and it could be a simple connection problem?  Thanks for your help.
