just flashed original nand back, updated to 7371 and started again.....still no hdmi, although I do have the ROL and controller syncs, but still output to screen on hdmi and fine on AV output, this is really begining to annoy me now, any help would be greatly appreciated.

lemme ask this.. does hdmi work at all when booting to the dashboard?

from reading a few of the posts above it sounds like your trying to boot into xellous with hdmi which WONT happen xell/xellous does not support hdmi output only vga.. the dashboard should work fine on hdmi..

I have encountered a similar issue on my Falcon JTAG... But I assume it's most likly the shitty off brand HDTV HDMI settings of mine... I mean it'll work with the Dish DVR box via HDMI no prob but when I switch hdmi over to the 360 it just goes gay and doesn't work.... Even on a unmodded 360 same issue... So check out the TV first or have you actually had it work on a 360 before? Or try on a diffrent TV and if it does work on that diffrent TV then yeah it's the TV of yours! Perphaps a firmware update is out for the TV? I need to do that to my TV... Just may solve the issue!

That's awesome to hear. Glad ya got it working. Did you change wiring or just recreate your fb image or what?

re-created the FB image, I have used this wiring on all jtaged consoels and never had an issue up until now

Can you please step thru the process you used, i have 2 falcons that i used the pre patched smc files for and i'm getting E79 on both.
