I have a 12611 jtag and I installed the official MS update via USB  to get avatars working. I received a sombrero from red dead but I cannot use it. Is it because I have to be logged into an xbox live profile? Is it possible to transfer my xbox live profile from my online xbox (12611 dash) to the jtag and be able to use the item? I read in another post that you cant use marketplace items so maybe this is considered a marketplace item.

I am just wondering if I actually have to be connected to live or just have a profile that has been connected to live in the past.
