I was wondering if there is a way to remove the xbox splash screen completely.. I would like my box to boot as quickly as possible and removing this should do just that... ? Any help

no, there is no way. you can remove the logo by making it black, but it will make no difference in speed.. the xbox takes a moment to initialize all devices, just like a PC.

Do you guys mean the animation flubber? cause you can mod the color of it or remove it with xbtool. But like the other poster said it won't make the xbox boot any faster.

Me personally, I dont want to make it boot faster I just want to replace the original flubber completely.

I don't think it's currently possible to actually change -what- the startup animation is, but it sure would be amusing if we could eventually figure that out. I'd go a little retro (not much) by trying to have it do something similar to the Dreamcast's startup animation. So simple, yet so fun.

Im pretty sure a talented cracker/ASM fella could just bypass the logo aswell as the flubber but then it'd just be a black screen till everything inititalised properly. Pretty boring and probably no quicker.
