Sata Pci Card For 360 Flashing
« on: January 03, 2007, 02:09:00 AM »

I know this question was asked before, sorry if I missed the answer.

What is the best chipset for flashing either of the Xbox 360 drives.

I have a card (SATACONNECT) with the VIA VT6421 chipset.

It has 2 internal, 1 external SATA ports and 1 Internal ATA/IDE 133 port. Which currently I have a 160GB IDE hard drive connected to as my mainboard doesn't support anything over 132GB.

I don't boot from the Card, I have a 10GB hard drive with my system on (Win 2003 experienced).

Will this card be ok for flashing a drive, or will it give me grief?

Thanks
