Yes windows can be run on ur xbox,  but u have to have linux and VMWare to load windows from linux (im not sure about XP though, i think its onyl Win2000) The only version of windows that boots from Evox is Windows Embedded.

Actually you could do it strait up without Linux... how ever you would have to break into Micro$oft and steel the code.. then rewrite it for the xbox (who's hardware wasn't designed to support xp BTW, but since you are rewriting the code, I'm sure you can figure out a way around that)... ok.. after your prision sentence.. you may go retrieve your stolen code from your secret hiding place and start working on your project.. however.. by then.. windows xp on the xbox.. and even windows xp and the xbox itself will more then likely be rather a thing of the past...

every version of windows, linux, freebsd etc will work with vmware. just the speed changes and with xp it would be slow as hell.
embedded doesn't work on the xbox for now. only windows.ce which is a complete other thing.

windows xp won't work without emulation of a real x86 computer. this si what vmware does. windows won't work right off of evox.

Ok but I'll use WineX to run  the MS Vitual PC on Liunx. It will not cost as much.

linux and X eat up a good bunch of the 64 megs of ram already. then run an emulator that uses up ram too, and then try to run XP on what's left.. imagine winxp on 20 megs of ram.

can you say craaaawling?
