I cant seem to transfer the stuff that's on my xbox to pc I have tried alot of ftp programs I can't finish transfering to PC, the problem is it gets stuck, after about transfering 10 files.

What can be the problem

the current IP on xbox is 192.168.0.6 I can connect to it the problem is transfering

provide a little more detail.

dashboard you are using

operating system/service packs
IP
subnet mask
gateway

also try rebooting your hub/switch/router and changing out your ethernet cable. <

crossover cable

I running throught my motherboard internal ethernet slot

I think the service pack2 might be the problem

any advise guys?

Well you're able to connect to your xbox but I would go ahead and temp disable the firewall that SP2 installed. Go to the control panel and then your security and you should see windows firewall.

Try that to see if it makes a difference. <

I did that still doesn't work Ok I now know it's SP2 since I tried another hard drive on my Pc with windows xp without any SP pack and it worked normal, how do I disable SP2 when I'm tranfering to my xbox, anybody else having the same problem? <

use internet explorer or some other
ftp://username:password@ipaddress
